HST012: 4Days Maasai Mara/Lake Nakuru/Depart
Day 1:
Depart Nairobi for Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch. Proceed for an afternoon game drive. This is Kenya's finest wildlife and bird’s sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. The months of July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra and the ever present predators. There are also resident wildlife and birds. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or Sianna Springs Luxury Tented Camp or similar.
Day 2:
 The day will be full of activities. Morning and afternoon game drives in the Maasai Mara. Meals and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or Sianna Springs Luxury Tented Camp or similar.
Day 3:
After breakfast drive northwards to Lake Nakuru National park. Arrive in time for lunch. Go for an afternoon game drive. Time to enjoy the wonders of our heritage. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill or equivalent.
Day 4:
Full day game viewing at Lake Nakuru National Park, " the land of the pink" where millions of greater and lesser flamingoes dwell. Visit a unique sanctuary that caters for endangered rhinos and the Rothschild giraffe. Waterbucks and predators such as the lions and leopards are common sight at the park. The park is ideal for a game drive because of the even landscape. To be seen is a variety of different species of bird life around the lake that is rich in algae the staple food for birds. Depart for Nairobi arriving in Nairobi late in the afternoon.
